Meet the Therapist

Hello! I’m Ms. Edmonds, and I’m so glad you’re here. I bring 9 years of experience working with preschoolers, adolescents, and young adults in educational settings. I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 2016 and completed my master’s degree at CSUN in 2025.

During my graduate studies, I had the privilege of volunteering as a facilitator for an aphasia social group, where I supported stroke survivors as they adjusted to the communication challenges in their daily lives. This experience strengthened my passion for working with individuals who need compassionate, specialized speech and language support.

I am dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential. My mission is to close the gap between language-delayed children and their typically developing peers by providing high-quality assessment, individualized intervention, and ongoing monitoring of progress and learning supports. I can’t wait to get to know your child and be part of their communication journey!

  • Parents seeking clarity – Families who want to understand their child’s current communication levels and development.

  • Children with medical conditions – Any child considered “at risk” due to health concerns that may impact communication.

How much does it cost to get my child assessed?

The total cost of a speech and language assessment is $100.

  • A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot and allows the speech therapist to come to your home or public place to conduct the assessment.

  • After the assessment, the clinician will prepare a detailed report (within 30 days) with your child’s results.

  • The remaining $50 balance is collected when you receive the report and virtually meet with the clinician to discuss results/next steps.

Where do you service?

We make it easy by coming directly to you to conduct the assessment in the comfort of your home. Currently, we serve families throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and Antelope Valley (Palmdale & Lancaster).

How long does the assessment take?

A speech and language assessment typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.

  • If your child is not compliant or needs a break, the speech therapist can return on another day at no extra cost to your family.

  • As part of the process, the clinician will also interview parents or caregivers to gather important background information and ensure a complete understanding of your child’s communication needs.
